Finance Officer - Accounts Receivable

The Finance Officer works as part of the Finance Team, providing financial and administrative support to staff, students, families and the community. They are responsible for the accounts receivable function across the College which includes managing family and sundry Accounts Receivable and ensuring finances are well managed and maintained in an effective, accurate and up to date manner.

Responsibilites include but are not limited to:

  • Billing
  • Fees Collections / Debtor Management

Resource Hub Officer

The Resource Hub Officer supports the smooth and efficient day to day running of the library / ILA. The Resource Hub Officer is part of the Library / ILA team that aims to deliver a broad range of services to support the College’s education mission. The Library / ILA provides a safe, welcoming, stimulating and supportive atmosphere that encourages all College community members to feel comfortable to visit in search of their information, ICT, recreational reading and other resource needs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the daily operation of the Library / Resource Hub and / or Integrated Learning Area (ILA)
  • Prepare the Library / ILA and manage facilities and equipment for daily bookings via the booking system
  • Ensure efficient management of the Circulation Desk including but not limited to managing staff and student loans, returns and follow up of overdue items, lost items, and general circulation matters, shelving of resources, and support regular stocktaking routines

ESO - Student Learning Support Officer (2x Positions Available)

The Student Learning Support Officer works collaboratively with the Learning Support Team to provide support for students with learning needs and/or disabilities to engage in learning by receiving meaningful and equitable access to the curriculum. This will be at the direction of, and in negotiation with the Learning Support Team Leader. The Student Learning Support Officer will provide flexible support, prepare, develop, deliver, or present differentiated practical learning activities for students with additional needs, working closely with students, teachers and families.

Duties/Responsibilites include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide flexible learning support for students to be independent learners to achieve their individual optimal education outcomes.
  • Nurture and contribute to building positive relationships through responsible behaviour, monitoring student health and wellbeing, attendance, academic achievement, and identifying students at risk.
  • Provide appropriate administrative support
  • ​18 Hours (3 days) per week
  • 40 Weeks per year, 0.4 FTE
  • 1 Year Tenure

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart College staff is made up of approximately 70 staff both in teaching and non-teaching roles.

Non-teaching staff undertake a diverse range of roles including student support, administration, financial management, ICT support, maintenance and publicity.

All staff support and contribute to the unique ethos at OLSH College and all are dedicated to ensure that each girl is able to achieve success.

Staff are encouraged to participate in professional development activities which lead to improved student outcomes.

Before commencing employment, staff are required to have undertaken the following:

  • First Aid Certificate for schools (dependent upon position held)
  • Mandatory Notification Training
